Recovery

shapeimage_1Dear Family and Friends,

It’s 830pm here in Franklin and Jennifer is on the couch reading a bedtime story to Hutch. She’s been feeling much better these past 24 hours, but is still in a considerable amount of pain at times. I wanted to write and say a heartfelt thanks for your prayers and kind email messages over the past 5 days as Jennifer has been in the hospital and then back at home. The Lord has been good to us through this and it has been an encouragement to hear from you. (Jennifer and I read all of the emails that come to FFH@me.com)

I’ve learned through this process that Jennifer is a much better parent than me. I’ve had the kids, now 6 and 1, all day and all night since Saturday. Things are being held together, but barely. I yell at the kids more than I would like and I’ve fed them pizza more than I should have. I sense their moods getting better as Jennifer begins to move about the house. I appreciate her now more than ever.

Thanks again for your prayers and notes. Thanks also to our friends in Dallas for understanding our absence. Hope to see you soon!

Jeromy

I’m a big fan of FFH, and when I heard that there was going to be a new cd I was excited. I heard about the diagnosis and began to cry. It broke my heart, but I’m praying everyday about it. I love all youe cds and will be getting the new one very soon!

p.s. where are the other two members of FFH?

  4. God is faithful. Two summers ago I received a phone call from my daughter that her friend’s brother had comitted suicide. He had been diagnosed with bi-polar and schizophrenia so we had been praying for God to remove these strongholds in Jesus’s name.He had made a decision for Christ and had asked Him into his heart, but still had some struggles. All I know is that when I got the phone call on Wednesday morning to pray for him and I continued on until Friday morning when I got the phone call that he had ended his life, that when I took him before the Lord that night that at 3:00 in the morning I was awoken in my Spirit man to the song playing in my heart….”I’m ready to fly” It was as though there was a radio in my head.I got up and went before the Lord and prayed should I share this with his sister? Well,Praise God I did and it was through that song that God moved for her and her family!!Isn’t God attuned to his people if we let him!!Thank you for listening to God to the writing and singing of your songs!! In Christ,Denise
